Tears For Fears - "Everybody Loves A Happy Ending", 2004 - Short Review
It's the best record they have ever made, no question. And judging from the majority of reactions on one of the
many Tears For Fears email mailing lists, perhaps destined to be the one least popular with the 'die hard' TFF fans.
And, you know what, this is a good thing. The very worst thing that could have happened with the reforming
of the band was that it sounded just like the TFF of the 1980s. What use would that be - really? If you
want 80s TFF, it already exists, you probably own it, no point in having it a second time.
For those however, who want something new but still with a hint of TFF around the edges, this is it.

This week I will be mostly...
a) Listening to the Tears For Fears' new album "Everybody Loves A Happy Ending" over and over and over again. Much of it is brilliant.
and
b) Continuing to make the next Fatboy Slim album.
Cool.
